CAT IIM 2009 UPDATE

According to newspaper report this year 2.42 lakh candidate will take CAT (IIM entrance test) test. The IIM had hoped that, woth the CAT being open for more number of days and flexible timings, more would take the test, which is also one of the toughest exam in the world. But it was not. In contrary to IIM speculation there is a dip of 12% in number of candidate appearing in the CAT test. Last year 2.76 lakh candidate took the test while this year this is 2.42 lakh.
