UPSC Engineering services examination 2010

Union public service commission(UPSC) is going to hold engineering services examination 2010 on 26th June 2010 for recruitment in 434 posts.

Eligibility:

Age:Not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years as on 1st August 2010. Upper age limit relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and certain other categories according to the government rule.

Educational Qualification:Should posses a degree in engineering or its equivalent. Candidate applying for the posts in Indian Naval Armament Service (Electronic Engineering posts) and engineer Group A in wireless Planning and Coordination wing/Monitoring Organisation may possess Msc Degree or its equivalent with wireless communication, Electronic, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject.

physical Standard:Candidate must be physically fit according to regulations given in notice.

Fee:
Rs 100 through central recruitment fee stamp only. SC/ST/Female candidates are exempted from payment (OBC candidates are required to pay full fee).

How to apply:
Candidate can apply online at UPSC website from 06/02/2010 to 22/02/2010. Candidate can also apply by purchasing application form from designated post offices throughout the country by paying amount of Rs.20. Candidates applying offline need to send completed application form to "Secretary, Union Public Services Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069" either by hand or by post/speed post/courier on or before 02/03/2010 (9th march for candidate residing in far flung areas).
