Qualification:
ESSENTIAL- A Doctorate degree in Zoology/Botany/
Entomology/Agriculture/Agronomy/Chemistry/Sericulture
from a recognised University with a minimum of 10 years
Research experience out of which 5 years should be in the
capacity of Scientist-B (PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 + Grade
pay of Rs.5400/-) or equivalent
DESIRABLE- Specialisation or research experience in the
Field of Molecular Biology / Bio-Technology / Entomology /
Insect Breeding.

2.Name of the post:SCIENTIST-C (Reeling & Spinning)

Pay scale:PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade pay of Rs.6600/-
Age:Below 45 years
Qualification:
ESSENTIAL- A Doctorate degree in Textiles
Technology/ Textile Chemistry or Textile Engineering
from a recognised University with a minimum of 10
years Research experience out of which 5 years should be
in the capacity of Scientist-B (Reeling & Spinning) (PB-3
Rs.15600-39100 + Grade pay of Rs.5400/-) or equivalent

Age:Below 40 years
Qualification:
ESSENTIAL- High II Class Master’s degree
with at least 55% marks in Zoology/Botany/
Entomology/Agriculture/Agronomy/Chemistry/
Sericulture from a recognised University with
5 years Research experience as evidenced by Research
Publications in reputed journals.

DESIRABLE- Specialisation or research experience in
the field of Molecular Biology/Bio-Technology, Soil
Science & Soil Chemistry, Insect Pathology / Virology,
Crop Physiology / Plant Physiology, Insect Breeding,
Biochemistry, Insect Physiology, Environmental
Sciences / Ecology, Applied Animal Genetics
